The International Conference on Computer and Informatics Engineering (IC2IE) is an annual conference that has been held since 2018. The theme for IC2IE 2026 is “Deepfake and Synthetic Media: Multimedia Technologies for Personal Data Security, Trust, and Digital Integrity”.
This theme addresses the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence technologies, particularly generative AI and synthetic media, which have introduced both opportunities and significant challenges to modern digital ecosystems. Deepfake technologies have the potential to revolutionize industries such as entertainment, education, and media production. However, they also pose serious threats related to misinformation and disinformation, identity manipulation, >digital fraud, privacy violations, and erosion of public trust in digital media.
